# Privacy Policy

*Effective Date: 01st July 2026*

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how **Tapzi** ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of users when they access or use the **Tapzi platform, including its website, services, gameplay environment, and developer launchpad** ("Platform").

We are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information.

#### 👤 Who We Are

Tapzi is responsible for personal information processed through the Platform. For any privacy request or question, contact us at [**team@tapzi.io**](mailto:team@tapzi.io).

#### 📥 Information We Collect

We collect limited personal information necessary to provide our services, which may include:

* **Contact details** (e.g., email address, if you contact support or subscribe to updates)
* **Wallet addresses** (for gameplay, transactions, staking, or presale participation)
* **Platform usage data** (e.g., gameplay history, leaderboard participation, user interactions)
* **Transaction details** (blockchain transactions for staking, withdrawals, or token purchases)
* **Device and technical data** (e.g., device information, IP address, and location signals used for security and fraud prevention)

We do **not** collect sensitive personal data like full names, addresses, or government IDs unless required by regulatory obligations (e.g., KYC/AML for presale participants or restricted jurisdictions).

#### ⛓️ Wallet & Blockchain Data

**Blockchain data is public and permanent.** When you interact with the Platform on-chain, transaction data (including wallet addresses, amounts, and timestamps) may be publicly and permanently recorded on the blockchain. Tapzi **cannot delete, modify, or erase** public blockchain records, and such records are outside our control.

#### 🎯 How We Use Your Information

We may use your information for the following purposes:

* To operate, maintain, and improve the Tapzi platform and user experience
* To process transactions, staking, and presale participation
* To communicate important updates, security alerts, or promotional information
* To analyze trends, usage patterns, and improve gameplay matchmaking fairness
* To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, bots, and prohibited activity
* To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations

#### ⚖️ Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

* **Performance of a contract** — to provide gameplay, staking, and presale services
* **Legitimate interests** — security, fraud/bot prevention, analytics, and product improvement
* **Legal obligation** — KYC/AML and sanctions compliance
* **Consent** — marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time

#### 🛡️ Wallet Screening & Risk Signals

We may process wallet addresses, transaction history, device information, IP address, location signals, fraud indicators, sanctions-screening results, and blockchain-analytics risk scores to protect the Platform, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and enforce eligibility restrictions.

#### 🔗 Information Sharing

We respect your privacy and do **not** sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share information in these cases:

* With authorized third-party service providers assisting in Platform operation — including KYC, AML, sanctions-screening, fraud-prevention, blockchain-analytics, wallet-integration, analytics, hosting, and security providers
* To comply with legal requests, court orders, or regulatory investigations
* With your consent, when partnering with developers or marketing partners for tournaments or launchpad activities

#### 🌍 International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms) as required by applicable law.

#### 🔐 Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, as blockchain interactions are inherently decentralized, users remain responsible for safeguarding their wallets and private keys.

#### 🕑 Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. KYC, transaction, security, and compliance records may be retained for the period required by law, AML obligations, dispute defense, fraud prevention, and audit requirements.

#### 👤 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

* Accessing your information
* Correcting inaccurate data
* Requesting deletion (where applicable)
* Objecting to certain processing activities

**EEA/UK (GDPR):** you also have the right to data portability, to restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

**California (CCPA/CPRA):** you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; we do not sell your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below.

#### 🍪 Cookies and Similar Technologies

Tapzi's website may use cookies and tracking technologies to improve functionality, performance, and security. If we use analytics, retargeting pixels, cookies, or ad tracking, we will provide a cookie policy and, for EU/UK users, a consent banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can also manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.

#### 🔗 Third-Party Links

The Tapzi platform may include links to third-party websites, exchanges, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content, and we encourage users to review third-party privacy policies before engaging.

#### 🚫 Children's Privacy

Tapzi is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately to delete it.

#### 📣 Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal-data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

#### 📝 Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will become effective upon posting to our website. We encourage users to review this Policy periodically to stay informed.
